UMI Tubular A Arms

Our tubular a-arms were built with this in mind-to offer the strongest manufactured item on the market while adding great weight savings over the stock piece. Over much research and development, we have accomplished this by using the best components offered for this application. By adding our tubular a-arms to the front of your F-Body you immediately remove 8 lbs. from the front of your vehicle, while adding strength and increased performance.

These tubular a-arms were designed to outperform the stock setup, whether it’s at the race track or a added improvement to your daily driver, they been tested and improved to handle both applications. Our tubular lower a-arms can be installed on the stock K-member or any aftermarket K-member. They are designed to reduce front end weight, as well as “unsprung” weight, providing improved handling performance to the front of your vehicle. Our a-arms are built using strong DOM steel tubing (Item # 2300CM uses DOM 4130 Chrome Moly Tubing - See Below); 0.188” CNC machined shock mounts, Moog® Problem Solver ball joints and QA1® XM Endura series rod ends. Each component has been chosen to offer the highest quality part available today!

UMI’s a-arms are supplied with high quality QA1® spherical bearing rod ends. These rod ends replace the stock rubber bushings found in the OEM arms. Our rod end design is to allow free movement and travel in the front suspension while adding additional front end adjustment when needed.

UMI Performance tubular A-Arms are designed to outperform the stock setup whether it’s at the race track or an added improvement to your daily driver; they've been tested and improved to handle both applications. These A-Arms are designed to add front end rigidity, increased strength and to eliminate flex found with stock A-Arms. Upper A-Arms are built using strong DOM steel tubing, 0.188” thick CNC machined ball joint mounts and are supplied with grease-able Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings. These upper A-Arms also feature an improved ball joint angle for lowered vehicles.



When do you choose adjustable upper A-Arms? A question we get asked a lot is when do I need adjustable upper A-Arms for my application? Adjustable A-Arms allow the operator to make front end changes such as improved caster and camber. These changes are very crucial when high handling such as autocross or road race is present. If caster or camber adjustments are desired they must be made by a professional alignment center. This procedure may take time and involve extra cost. If your vehicle is exposed to street driving and/or drag race these upper A-Arms are the perfect set-up for you.

3031 G Body Tubular Lower A-Arms
UMI Performance A-Arms are designed to offer a light weight set-up that is still capable of handling every day street abuse. This tubular set-up removes 5-1/2 lbs off the front of your vehicle while adding increased ride quality and reducing bushing deflection. These new lower A-Arms are supplied with new ball joints installed, Energy Suspension grease-able polyurethane bushings and sway bar mounting provisions. This lower A-Arm kit is designed to work with the factory springs, lowering springs that mount in the factory location and the popular QA1 coil over kit. Add a QA1 coil over kit with these A-Arms and expect a weight savings of 15-1/2 lbs.

A-Arms are fabricated using 1.250” drawn over mandrel tubing, CNC machined ball joint holders and feature both MIG and TIG welding.
